Giant Bubble Experiment
GIANT BUBBLE FUN
by
Araceli and Florfelipa
Have you ever made a giant bubble? Well, that’s what we’re going to tell you about, because that is one of the fun experiments we did in Room 8 this quarter. First you need to gather your ingredients:
2 yard sticks
2 pieces of string - 36 inches each
glycerin - 1/4 part
Dawn or Joy detergent - 1 part
distilled water - 15 parts
The size for these giant bubbles can be about 8 inches -3 yards, huge. Here’s how to do it:
1. You dip the sticks into the bubble mix in the bucket.
2. You take the stick out slowly.
3. Then you take 10 steps back and let the wind start to form the bubble.
4. Last, you slowly pull it apart and you will have a giant bubble!
Last but not least, I’m going to tell you how the bubbles look. They look huge, clear, and cool. Caution, don’t let it get in your eyes. As you can see, making bubbles can be amazing and fun! So give it a try!
